When creating visual art it has to be old looking, incorporating romantic ideas such as horses and old people. Write on it with handwriting a typeface developed before 1970.
When creating music find your key and then play everything except what fits in it. Don't rhyme your words except where rhymes have no place.
When creating prose and poetry just don't make any fucking sense.
